Once I receive your information via the contact form on my website or through this price guide, I will reach out via email to schedule a time for us to chat. This initial chat is to give you more details of my photography style, how I operate on wedding days, and also give me a chance to get to you two as a couple. We will also talk about your plans for your wedding day, how many hours of coverage you'll need and briefly discuss timeline thoughts.

how it works

Once we have chatted, you should have a good idea of how many hours of coverage you'll need for your wedding or elopement. I will then send you over a formal booking proposal (via email) where you will see wedding date/location details, invoice and a contract. Once you have carefully looked over it, you will sign your contract, pay your retainer, and NOW, YOU ARE IN MY CALENDAR! If deposit is not received within 24 hours, I will reopen the date.

After you are booked and on my calendar, I will send you over a "Wedding Day Details" questionnaire. This questionnaire asks a variety of questions pertaining to your wedding day such as wedding party, getting ready locations, family portrait list, venue location, etc. Once this is filled out, I will have a good idea of your day and the people in it to create a "tentative" timeline. This initial crack at the timeline is to nail down a ceremony time for you and also make sure you know when ideally I'd like to do Bride + Groom photos. Once I am done creating this timeline, I will send it over to you to review, we can make changes and then you'll walk away with a ceremony/bride + groom photo times. Remember, this timeline will continue to evolve and change as your wedding planning continues through the coming months. 

04. FINAL PAYMENT

Two weeks before your wedding, your final payment is due. 

05. WEDDING DAY

This is YOUR day! A couple days before your wedding I will send you an email to check-in just incase anything has changed or to confirm we're still on the same page. I will also send you a text or send your "wedding day point of contact" a text to let you know I'm on my way. Then, the fun begins as I photograph how your day unfolds. 

06. LET THE EDITING BEGIN

Loading your photos onto my computer and viewing them is like opening a gift on Christmas morning. Editing your photos is one of my favorite things to do. My turn-a-round time for your gallery is 6 weeks. I try my best to get them back to you as soon as I can but this wholly depends on my workload at the time + if my children are behaving. ha! But, in the midst of patiently waiting, I will post some "Sneak Peeks" on Instagram within 3 days of your wedding. Have no fear, if you don't have instagram, I will send them to your phone or email. 

07. DOWNLOAD AND PRINT YOUR PHOTOS

Gallery arrival day! I will send you over an email that will have a link to your photo gallery. You will be able to download, share, and print all your photos. I highly encourage everyone to print your photos (or just your favorites) or let me make you an album. There is nothing better than being able to have something tangible to hold in your hands. If you do chose to have an wedding album made, this is when we start the process!
